Smerkk’s deeply personal and authentic songs depict feelings and experiences with an original and gritty style stemming from an unusual childhood and a constant passion for creativity and self expression. He discovered music and writing as an outlet for the expression of life's rollercoaster of emotions. An ever evolving sound, Smerkk’s music genres include hip hop/rap, punk, alt, pop, dance, and more.

His songs memorialize a wide range of subject matters such as mental health, heartbreak, love, substance abuse, suicide, financial struggles, etc. Due to trouble in school Smerkk was forced to switch high schools 7 times in 6 different states. Countless therapists and diagnoses later, music was the only healthy outlet he would return to. The switching of schools and states led to him performing nationally, including Memphis, Maine, Delaware, Massachusetts, Arizona, New York, Los Angeles, Connecticut, as well as collaborating with countless artists. 49 released songs and 4 projects later and his journey still has just begun.
